David Wilson started his work life as an apprentice fibrous plasterer, completed the apprenticeship, and stayed in the trade for 10 years. He then followed his passion for fishing and started a charter fishing business.
Shortly after that, he went back into the construction industry as a site foreman. Over the years David progressed and became a site manager for commercial builders. This allowed him to master planning, scheduling, and communicating well orally and in writing – which are all valuable skills of a building inspector.
Being part of the Resicert team allowed him to spend more time with his family and his grandkids. In his spare time, he enjoys game fishing.
