Kevin Smith brings over 40 years of building experience to his role as a Building and Timber Pest Inspector, including five recent years working on construction sites across New Zealand. With deep knowledge spanning from foundations to finishing touches, Kevin thrives on renovation projects and has a knack for turning the old into something truly special.
As an inspector, Kevin takes on the role of a house detective, carefully examining properties to ensure they’re strong, safe, and free from hidden issues like termites or structural concerns. His mission is to catch problems early, helping clients protect their homes and avoid costly surprises.
Kevin values the supportive and professional environment at Resicert, where he can make a real impact by helping others. Outside of work, he’s passionate about cricket, whether playing, coaching, or cheering from the sidelines, and starts most days with a refreshing ocean swim. When not on the golf course, you’ll likely find him helping his five sisters with renovation jobs, happily trading his skills for a coffee and a home-cooked meal.
