About
With 150 years of boatbuilding heritage in his Scottish family, Rob Fleming naturally entered this field when he left school. He specialized in marine engineering covering all aspects from Project Management of new builds through to spending 15 years at sea as chief engineer on ships and yachts ranging in size from 20 meters to 90 meters. This then led to 10 years ashore in a Technical Engineering management position for an Australian-based shipping company overseeing the maintenance on the company vessels.
Rob’s immediate family is involved in the building industry in Perth, and this greatly influenced him to the point that he built his own home, invested in property, and even managed a couple of developments over the last 10 years. He fell in love with the industry, and it led him to his involvement in the industry as a Property Inspector.
Resicert impressed me with their ethos and their professionalism around the reports and service provided to people like you and me. The attraction for me was a no-brainer. The role also allowed me the flexibility to spend more quality time with my family and that all-important work/life balance.
