If you are remodelling or have constructed your own home (such as an addition) over a certain value, and you now wants to sell it, you will be required by law to have an Owner Builder Warranty Inspection. You will be required of this inspection if:
- You are selling the home within six or seven years from the original building or the renovations
- Builder Warranty / Home Indemnity insurance is required in Melbourne or Geelong
There are different rules and regulations in place and you require someone who is knowledgeable about the laws. That someone is Resicert Property Inspections.
All of our reports are straightforward, easy to understand and are available 24 hours after the inspection. Also, Our inspector will explain his assessment to you in detail before he leaves.
We have 4 different levels of inspections available. All reports cover structural certainty, roof cavity, subfloor, interior of every room, outside house perimeter, fences, outbuildings and trees.
The higher the inspection level, the more detail about the home you will receive in the reporting process.
